Biscuits and Gravy

This dish is inspired by Reef’s great grandmother, Melba Wheeler. She always makes biscuits and gravy when we visit her. She is 90 years old and lives in Perry, Utah. Biscuits and gravy is Reef’s favorite!


1 lbregular ground pork sausage
1/3 cupflour
3 cups2% milk
To tasteblack pepper
4hard boiled eggs
1 pkgGrands Biscuits
shredded cheese


  1. Cook the Grands Biscuits according to the package directions and set aside
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet
  3. When the sausage is cooked through, add the flour
  4. Let the flour coat the sausage
  5. Add 3 cups of milk and stir constantly
  6. When the gravy is thickened, add the diced hard boiled eggs
  7. Spoon gravy over halved biscuits and garnish with shredded cheese
  8. Enjoy!
