This recipe has been passed down in our family from my Grandma, Alice Maeda. It's really easy to make, which is perfect for me!

Ingredients:

2 lbsground beef
5 slicesbacon, chopped
1/2onion, chopped
1 tspgarlic salt
1 tspregular salt
1 lbspaghetti noodles
2 cansstewed tomatoes
1 canCampbell's Tomato Soup
1/2 tspadditional garlic salt and regular salt
1 tbspbrown sugar

Instructions:

  1. Chop bacon and onion and fry in a large pot until bacon provides enough grease to cook ground beef
  2. Add ground beef, 1 tsp garlic salt, and 1 tsp of regular salt. Cook until done
  3. Add 2 cans of stewed tomatoes and 1 can of tomato soup. Fill stewed tomato cans halfway with water. Use the water to rinse the cans and pour the water into your pot
  4. Do the same with the tomato soup can – filling the can about 3/4 full
  5. Bring ingredients to a boil
  6. Lower heat and add uncooked spaghetti noodles. Add additional 1/2 tsp garlic salt and 1/2 tsp of regular salt and 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  7. Cook until liquid is absorbed by noodles, stirring frequently
  8. Serve with garlic bread. Enjoy!
