Sashimi Salad

Tavis said he likes to save this recipe for fish that is caught and not bought. This dish is quick, easy, and delicious.


Ingredients:

1/2 lbsashimi
1 packageradish sprouts -- kaiware
Kewpie mayo
ponzu
fish eggs -- massago, tobiko, or ikura
1/2sweet onion
sesame oil

Instructions:

  1. Thinly slice ½ sweet onion and arrange it on a plate
  2. Cut ½ pound of sashimi and place it on the plate. You can sear the fish first to add extra texture.
  3. Sprinkle fish eggs over the fish
  4. Cut off the roots of the radish sprouts and arrange it over the sashimi
  5. Sprinkle ponzu, kewpie mayo, and sesame oil over the salad to taste
