The late Mrs. Agripina Collado, from ʻEleʻele, perfected her specialty -- fried chicken. It was special for those who enjoyed it, because she rarely made it. She kept the simple recipe written on a worn steno notepad. The marinade is commonly shared, but her technique was kept a secret. After multiple tries by her son, Greg, it may not be perfect, but it is special.
