Banana Cream Pie

This recipe is special to me because it’s ONO! The creator is my Aunty Betty, who agreed to share her recipe and submit a photo of herself. I make this pretty much whenever we have family get togethers. It’s my go-to dish.


Ingredients:

Crust:

1-1/2 cupsflour
1-1/2 blocksbutter
3 tbsppowdered sugar
3/4 cupwalnuts, chopped
Filling:
1st Layer
1 8 oz pkgcream cheese
1-1/2 cuppowdered sugar
1 container

Cool Whip

2nd Layer
6 - 8bananas
3rd Layer
2 boxesinstant vanilla pudding
3 cupscold milk
4th Layer
4 ozCool Whip


Instructions:

  1. Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add 1-1/2 cups flour and nuts. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  2. For the filling, beat together soften cream cheese and sugar then mix in Cool Whip
  3. Spread filling over cooled crust and refrigerate for 1 hour
  4. Slice bananas and place over cream cheese layer
  5. Add milk to pudding and whip until thick. Pour over bananas.
  6. Spread 4-oz container of Cool Whip as the final layer. Optional, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  7. Chill before serving
