This dish is special to me because I learned it from my mom, and it is a fond memory of growing up. It is a comfort food from my childhood that I now make for my family. It is an easy "set it and forget it" kind of meal for our busy lives. This meal is a family favorite and so easy to make. Hope your family enjoys it as much as ours does!

2-3 lbspot roast
2 packetsLipton Onion soup mix
2 canscream of cream of mushroom soup
1 lbcarrots, peeled and cut, or use baby carrots
2 lbspotatoes, peeled and cut in quarters, or halves or, use baby potatoes
1/2 stalkcelery, cut in pieces
2onions, cut in quarters

  1. Place pot roast at the bottom of the slow cooker
  2. Add cream of mushroom soup and sprinkle Lipton Onion soup mix
  3. Place all vegetables on top
  4. Cover with foil and cook at 325 degrees for 6 - 7 hours. You can also cook in the oven if you don’t have a slow cooker.
  5. Enjoy!
