Grove Farm Employees Donate Their Time
August 2008
In the third quarter of 2008, the Grove Farm Foundation was proud to support three non-profit organizations with monetary donations via its Employee Volunteer Grants Program. The purpose of the program is to encourage Grove Farm employees to support Kaua'i's island community through the gift of valuable volunteer service. By personally investing themselves to further the cause of their favorite local non-profit organizations, Grove Farm employees are able to directly impact and positively influence Kaua'i's future.
Due to the continuing tireless effort and passionate service by our Grove Farm team members, who freely gave of their time, energy and expertise, the Grove Farm Foundation was pleased to support the Boy Scouts of Hawai'i - Kaua'i Chapter, the Sons of Hawai'i Motorcycle Club - Kaua'i Operation Military Appreciation and Kaua'i Hospice with $500 grants.

"Earth Week" a Success
April 21, 2008
In late April, Grove Farm was excited to host nearly 500 students, teachers and advisors as everyone celebrated "Earth Week" up at Iliahi.
Grove Farm was delighted to work with the 4th graders from King Kaumuali'i Elementary School and Wilcox Elementary School, as well as the 6th graders from Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School.
Thanks to the efforts of the hardworking students and their dedicated teachers, the Ecological Restoration project at Iliahi now has 2,500 native plants, trees and shrubs.
The students did a tremendous job at Iliahi and were a pleasure to work with. In addition to our Grove Farm team, a number of volunteers from the National Tropical Botanical Garden's Na Lima Kokua group were also on hand to celebrate Earth Week.
Many thanks to everyone who made Earth Week such a great success!
