Kaua`i Kalo

Grove Farm is working with the Haraguchi family, well-respected taro farmers for three generations in Kaua`i's Hanalei Valley, to produce taro in Grove Farm's Mahau`lepu Valley.

In ancient Hawai`i, there was once more than 350 varieties of kalo. Currently, there are known to be only seven to twelve varieties in the kalo family.
