Formally incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in 1993, the Grove Farm Foundation has long been a meaningful contributor to numerous Kaua'i-based organizations.

Moving forward, the Grove Farm Foundation will focus on building communities through leadership; promoting employee volunteerism; supporting educational enrichment opportunities; enhancing and protecting the environment; assisting health and human service projects; and creating economic opportunities for Kaua'i's future.

Employee Volunteer Grants Program

Grove Farm has established an Employee Volunteer Grants Program to encourage employees to support Kaua'i communities through the gift of valuable volunteer service. By personally investing themselves to further the cause of local non-profit organizations, Grove Farm employees will be able to directly impact and positively influence Kaua'i's future.

An employee who completes 25 hours of volunteer service with a certified organization of his/her choice in a calendar year is eligible to apply for a $500 unrestricted grant from the Grove Farm Foundation. Two $500 grants per employee are available on an annual basis.

Grove Farm Scholarship Program

The Grove Farm Foundation will offer merit-based scholarships to Kaua'i students attending a four-year university or college. The focus of the Grove Farm Foundation Scholarship Program is to recognize community service, good citizenship, academic accomplishments, and quality of character. Each scholarship is valued at up to $20,000. Students graduating in 2010 will be the first to become eligible applicants for the Grove Farm Foundation Scholarship.
